In her art she hopes to portray what Henry James referred to as “the felt life.” Traditional subject matter - still life, landscape and portraiture - and the play of light upon form continue to hold her interest. Her paintings reveal the beauty of everyday experience. In their making and viewing, her paintings are for contemplation, insight, and celebration. As she says, “With my paintings I am hoping to pull you over to see what I see and share my awe!”
